RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparing and maintaining medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over-the-counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance. 

Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

Veterinary Receptionist--We are currently seeking a Receptionist who is proactive and gregarious, and who holds a BS or BA degree (or equivalent experience/knowledge).  Familiarity with veterinary medicine is a plus.  Desire to learn and an interest in medicine, biology, business, and the service industry is a must.  We are poised to double our size in a free-standing facility, equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, and in-house laboratory.
Full-time with benefits and continuing education available.  Schedule will include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS / ASSISTANTS  

Technicians and Junior Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, medical record-keeping, pharmacy, operation, maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room, and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs. 

Veterinary Technician--We are currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (or minimum three years full time comparable experience).  We are poised to double our size in a free-standing facility, equipped with ultrasound, digital radiology, in-house laboratory (including electrolyte/coag analyzers), Cardell anesthesia monitors, nasal O2, and multiple IV line capability for in-hospital patients.  Candidate should be a self-motivated, energetic "life-learner."  Join our three-doctor practice, which also includes grooming and a daycare/boarding kennel.  Use all your skills and training to provide Modern Medicine and Hometown Hospitality!

GROOMERS/ GROOMING ASSISTANTS  

Responsibilities include bathing, drying, and styling/grooming dogs and cats; performing walk-in nail trims; filling out "Grooming Track Sheets;" completing "Salon Secrets" card to go home with each pet; reporting to veterinary staff any medical issues noticed for each pet; billing services; and cleaning grooming cottage at the end of each day.

Groomers should be licensed and/or have at least five years of grooming experience.

Professional Groomer--Creativity and a competitive commission salary!  We are currently seeking a part-time or full-time Groomer.  Must be comfortable with dogs of variable size.  Having your own pets and being comfortable with cats would be a plus.  Candidate should be a personable, creative team player who is always willing to learn new things.

KENNEL SUPERVISOR

The Kennel Supervisor plans and coordinates the service functions related to the boarding/daycare facility and the Kennel Attendants.  These functions include, but are not limited to, providing the care and basic needs of animals who are kenneled for the day or overnight at Stream Valley for boarding, daycare, grooming, or veterinary services.  This also includes cleaning of cages, runs, and ward areas; doing laundry; walking dogs; and proper feeding, medicating, and providing care of all hospitalized animals.

KENNEL ATTENDANTS

Kennel Attendants are responsible for animal care, feeding, and handling; bathing and some grooming; cleaning; laundry; and waste disposal.

Schedule would include mornings, afternoons, and evenings (weekdays and weekends) and holidays.  Benefits available.

Part-Time Positions for after school, weekends, holidays, and summer break:
Must be 16 years old or above.  Schedule would include weekday evenings; weekend mornings, afternoons, and evenings; and holidays.  (School break and summer schedule would include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
