  Stream Valley offers you many unique boarding advantages. In your absence, your pet’s care occurs under the watchful eyes of the entire team: not only of the Stream Valley kennel staff, but also of the veterinary doctors and technicians.

We have 20 interior kennels, including 13 on the heated floor (one 6’ x 7’ kennel and twelve 4’ x 6’ kennels). Additionally, there are seven 4’ x 6’ kennels, which are lofted on a second level.

During the day, our staff hand walks and/or offers play time at least three times per day. The staff uses our three exterior enclosures.

1.     The largest is a 60' x 40' “sand” yard shaded by a wisteria-covered arbor.  This is our main play area, and it includes a climbing gym and plenty of space for games of chase or fetch.

2.     A second yard is grassed with shade trees and is ideal for basking on warm, sunny days.

3.     The third, a pebbled enclosure, has an above-ground pool, which is used as weather permits.

The kennel staff feeds Hill’s ™ Maintenance Diet ™; however, your pet may be fed a diet that you provide. Although Stream Valley has its own supply of bedding and toys, personal belongings may be accepted; however, these belongings are not guaranteed to be returned in their initial condition. If you do bring food or belongings, please label all items. Some belongings, deemed unsafe by the veterinary staff, may be withheld.

Simple administration of medications by the primary kennel staff occurs with a daily review by veterinary doctors and technicians. Stream Valley provides for the special needs of its boarding pets; for example, diabetic and epileptic boarders are under the care of the veterinary technician team with assistance of the kennel staff. During the evening, our resident staffer walks through, checking the security and the safety of your pet.

Our pricing is inclusive.  Except for medication administration, bathing, nail trimming, grooming, and veterinary services, there are no a la cart charges.  Stream Valley offers boarding at a reduced rate to its veterinary clients versus its non-clients, and we accept the four major credit cards. We require a $50 deposit, which is refundable if the client personally notifies our receptionist team fourteen (14) days prior to the start of the reservation day.

We ask that you make boarding reservations early; weekend and holiday periods fill up quickly. Also, you may request copies of our Boarding Service Estimate & Admission Form to complete before arriving for your scheduled appointment, or you should allow the time for completion at your drop-off.  If you are pressed for time, please complete this form ahead and bring it with your pet.

Pick-ups and drop-offs times are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM, Saturday from 8 AM to 3 PM, and Sunday from 5 to 7 PM.  

Veterinary and grooming services are available for your pet while boarding at Stream Valley.  Typically, grooming occurs at the end of a boarding period.  Arrangements and estimates for all our services can be prepared for your review by our reception, technician, or grooming teams.
