Reception Staff: 

~Mary Edwards, Lead~  Mary first came to Stream Valley as a receptionist when our practice was still very young.  After taking leave twice to grow her family (giving birth to a son, then a daughter), Mary now returns in the role of Lead Receptionist.

~Verna Yrure~  Verna worked in the human medical field for over twelve years, but a lifelong love of animals lead her to DogOn Fitness, a company offering daily exercise sessions to Metro area dogs.  She joined Stream Valley's reception team so that she can work closely with both pets and people.  Her family includes her son and her Greyhound, Rose.

~Linda Cummings~  Linda earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Marillac College in Arlington, Virginia and her Master of Science degree in Nursing at Marymount University.  After serving for over thirty years, she retired from the United States Navy, Nurse Corps, at the rank of Captain.

~Nicole Ford~  Nicole performs the hospital and kennel’s nightly walk-through as she lives in Stream Valley’s on-site apartment with her Chihuahua, Chico.  Her hobbies include reading and cooking.

~Emily Hall~  Emily earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Kinesiology from Shenandoah University.  She is considering pursuing further studies in the veterinary field.  Her personal interests include skiing and photography.

Technician Staff: 

~Shannon Robinson, Lead~  Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology from the State University of New York.  Currently, she is also studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT).

~Allison Miller, LVT~  “BooBear’s” mommy earned her Licensed Veterinary Technician certificate from the Veterinary Technician Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  Additionally, Allison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Edinboro University in Pittsburgh.

~Jessica Fickling~  Since 2002, Jessica has worked in the veterinary field as a kennel attendant, a receptionist, and a technician.  Before coming to Stream Valley, she gained experience as a veterinary ER technician.  She has four dogs and three cats, and she enjoys softball.

On an interesting side note, Jessica's mother graduated high school with Dr. Corey!
