Dr. Mary Corey is native to Northern Virginia and grew up inside the Beltway. She attended Whittier Junior High, and later graduated from Falls Church High School in 1977. Her father and mother come from a great generation—her mother was a farm girl daughter of a teacher and later met her father, Col. Corey, who were both animal and outdoor lovers.
Dr. Amantha Johnson, a local of Sterling Park, was one of Stream Valley's first Licensed Veterinary Technicians in the opening years of 2001-2004. She then moved to Blacksburg and continued to work as an LVT in the "Hokie Hills" in pursuit of her lifelong dream to add DVM behind her name.
Dr. Syam is originally from India, where he developed a love for caring for animals! In India, he received his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery degree, and worked mostly with large animals for over 8 years before coming to the United States in 2008.

Suzanne has been with Stream Valley since October of 2012 when she joined our kennel team working part time. She first excelled and flew through the ranks from becoming a kennel supervisor to a Kennel Lead by working hard, learning harder, and having fun with her work!
Nate has always wanted to work in medicine and his love for animals pulled him into the “happy medium” of a veterinary technician position. His previous work experiences include being a summer hire at the Costa Rican embassy and a kennel attendant.
Jocelin became a member of the Stream Valley family as a vet assistant in June of 2019. She's lived in Loudoun County throughout her entire life! She is currently attending George Mason University for a Biology/Pre-Vet degree.
Chaney recently joined our Stream Valley team in February 2020 as a Veterinary Assistant. A local of Sterling, VA, she went to Park View High School, but then transferred to Florence High School in Arizona to obtain her Honors Scholar diploma.
Rachel became part of the team in April to work as both a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant. Although originally from New Jersey, Rachel moved down to Virginia to be closer to her family. She attended the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ and received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Katie, a Northern Virginia native, came to Stream Valley in March 2013. She obtained her Certified Veterinary Assistant certification from PennFoster, and has also received education pertaining to cats, low stress handling techniques, and Fear Free training.
Abby is an accomplished dog trainer with a degree in Animal Science from VA Tech University and 10+ years of dog training experience. It all started when she adopted her first dog, Riley, when she was 12.
Deanna got her first Border Collie in 1993 and her second in 1995. The second Border won “Wackiest Pet Trick” at Pet Smart and was on PAX TV! She currently has two new Border Collies and one cat. She has been a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), Dulles Gateway Obedience Training Club (DGOTC), and the United States Border Collie Association (USBCA).
We’re happy to welcome Shannon, who joined us this past June, to the Stream Valley Kennel team! She graduated from South Lakes High School in 2014, and thereafter began her pet care journey full time. She brings with her years of experience and love for animals from local pet care facilities.
Welcome Victoria to our CSR team! She joins us after graduating from Longwood University with a Bachelors's Degree in Liberal Studies and a minor in Psychology. She brings along previous experience as a dog daycare shift leader and a summer camp counselor.
